Overview
The Fabfamily membership entitles you privileges including earning Fabcoins on shopping, completed survey and feedback submissions and transacting referrals. Fabcoins for Platinum and Black tier members are valid for a period of 36 months from the time of earning. For Bronze, Silver and Gold, the fabcoins are valid for 12 months from the time of earning. Fabcoins are not accrued on discounted items or discounted bills. The membership is non-transferable and is linked to your registered mobile number. Fabcoins are calculated basis your bill amount excluding tax. Membership privileges cannot be exchanged for cash. Use of the loyalty card and membership to the program constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Fabfamily program as prescribed or amended from time to time by Fabindia Limited. The decision of the company shall be final and binding. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Delhi Court only.
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions for the Fabfamily program carefully. By accessing or using this promotional program, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described herein and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to any of these terms and conditions, do not participate in this program.
These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions or Terms & Conditions”) apply to your access to, and participation in, the Fabfamily program (“Fabfamily or Program or Fabfamily Program ”) which is operated by Fabindia Limited (also known as "Fabindia or Company"). These Terms and Conditions do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Fabindia for products, services or otherwise. Fabindia reserves the right to change, modify and/or terminate the Fabfamily program and/or these Terms and Conditions or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to the Fabfamily program at any time and at its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to www.fabindia.com, and due to such changes or modifications your rights will be waived, which you may have been entitled to receive. Your participation in the Fabfamily program confirms your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms and Conditions and applicable policies from time to time to understand the Terms and Conditions that apply to the Fabfamily program. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions, you must stop participating in the Fabfamily program.
The Fabfamily program is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. If you are below the age 18, you may only use the Fabfamily program under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Fabfamily program is one way in which Fabindia endeavours to reward and thank loyal customers for patronizing Fabindia products at participating Fabindia stores in India and on www.fabindia.com.
To enrol in the Fabfamily program and receive program benefits, visit the program website at www.fabfamily.fabindia.com. Follow the prompts to sign up for an account and fill the enrolment form with your details. The enrolment process may require that you provide the following information using the online registration form: a valid 10-digit Indian mobile number (required in order to receive all eligible rewards), an email ID, first name, last name, gender, postal address, birthday and anniversary date, etc. For ease of reference, in these Terms and Conditions, the term “Fabfamily card” refers to a digital/virtual Fabfamily Card, that may be used in India, either online or at a participating Fabindia store in India. You can also enrol at a participating Fabindia store by giving your mobile number at the time of transacting. The store staff will ask you for your mobile number and reconfirm if you would like to join the program. If you choose to Opt-out of the program, the store staff will unsubscribe you from the program. Once enrolled in the program you become a Member of the program.
The customer expressly warrants that the mobile number given by the Member is the Member's valid Indian mobile number issued specifically to the Member by an Indian Mobile Services Provider. Further, the Member represents and warrants that the mobile number provided by the Member to Fabindia for the program is Member's own, valid and existing mobile number.
A customer visiting the store and agreeing to enrol for the Program (“Member”) shall provide the store personnel with a valid Indian mobile number to complete the enrolment formalities. The Member should note that the mobile number so provided will be the registered with the program and all future transactions of accumulation of Fabcoins will be on the basis of the registered mobile number. The Member confirms that by enrolling for the Program, it is construed that each Member has read and understood the Terms and Conditions and has accepted and agreed to unconditionally abide by the same.
Upon enrolment, customers agree to receive commu¬nication from Fabfamily program about their transactions and/or any promotions from Fabindia. All special offers, updates and account activity details will be communicated to the Member through SMS (on the mobile number registered with the Fabfamily program), direct mail and/or email and/or any other digital medium. The Company shall not be responsible in any manner for any loss, delay, incor¬rect or incomplete communication.
The Fabfamily benefits are determined based on the amount you spend at a participating Fabindia store in India and the number of "Fabcoins" that you earn through your spending at a participating Fabindia store by using your Fabindia card or registered mobile number. A "Fabcoin" for purposes of the Fabfamily program, holds the value of one Indian Rupee worth of spends at the time of redemption at a participating Fabindia store in India, on the Fabindia website online or at participating experiences and events. No "Fabcoins" will be rewarded for purchases in any Fabindia store outside India.
For each qualified purchase, you will receive Fabcoins at the rates presented in Exhibit 1, at any participating Fabindia store in India or at www.fabindia.com, except during limited time promotions when Fabindia may offer "Bonus Fabcoins" on featured products and/or services. Fabcoins are for promotional purposes only and have no cash value. You can manage your account and track your rewards online at
www.fabfamily.fabindia.com.

The Fabfamily Tiers & Benefits
Currently, there are five (5) tiers in the Fabfamily program which are allocated to you basis the amount you have spent with Fabindia over a pre-determined period. By providing a valid 10-digit Indian mobile number at the time of a transaction at a participating Fabindia store in India or on www.fabindia.com, you will be enrolled in the Fabfamily program at the Bronze tier. Fabcoins are earned on the bill amount excluding taxes. If you spend Rs. 20,000 within a twelve (12) month period, you will advance to the Silver Level. If you spend Rs. 50,000 within a twelve (12) month period, you will advance to the Gold Level. If you spend Rs. 1,00,000 within a twelve (12) month period, you will advance to the Platinum Level. If you spend Rs. 2,00,000 within a twelve (12) month period, you will advance to the Black tier.
Once you reach a specific tier within the Fabfamily program, you will receive the benefits that are applicable to that tier. A tier upgrade is granted only after the spend threshold has been crossed. For example a first-time shopper will automatically join at the Bronze tier and will have access to benefits at that tier. If his/her first transaction is for Rs. 50,000, he/she will earn at the Bronze earn rate for that first transaction. Once that transaction is completed and the invoice generated, his/her account will reflect a spend of Rs. 50,000 and he/she will then be upgraded to the Gold tier with immediate effect.
You must continue to spend at a participating Fabindia store or on www.fabindia.com in order to maintain your tier. Refer to Exhibit 2 below. At each tier of membership, you must spend the amount mentioned in the “Retention Spend” column within a 12-month period from the date of joining that tier in order to continue to remain in that tier. If you spend the amount mentioned in the “Upgrade Spend” column in your current tier, you will be upgraded to the next tier with immediate effect. In case you do not spend the required “Retention Spend” amount in a tier in the 12-month period, you will be downgraded to the tier below at the end of your 12-month period.

. For example: You shopped for Rs. 30,000 and enrolled for Fabfamily at a participating Fabindia store in India on 2nd January 2019 by giving your mobile number at the time of the transaction. You will be placed in the Silver tier and 300 fabcoins will be credited to your account. These 300 fabcoins will be valid from 2nd January 2019 until 1st January 2020. On 2nd January 2020, these 300 fabcoins will expire and you will no longer be able to use them. Fabcoins earned after the 2nd of January 2019, will still be valid until they reach their own 12 month expiry date.
Please note that "Fabcoins" accumulated for Platinum and Black tier will be valid for 36 months from the date you reach the particular level. For example: You shopped for Rs. 150,000 and enrolled for Fabfamily at a participating Fabindia store in India on 2nd January 2019 by giving your mobile number at the time of the transaction. You will be placed in the Platinum tier and 7500 fabcoins will be credited to your account. These fabcoins will be valid from 2nd January 2019 until 1st January 2022. On 2nd January 2022, these fabcoins will expire and you will no longer be able to use them. Fabcoins earned after the 2nd of January 2019, will still be valid until they reach their own 36 month expiry date.
In case you have been a Fabindia customer prior to the launch of the Fabfamily program then the benefits of the Fabfamily program will be available to you from the day the program has launched.
All rewards expire at midnight (at 00:00 hrs Indian Standard Time) on the date of expiry of the reward.
Fabcoins will not be earned on invoices which have a mobile number linked to GST.
Bronze Tier
You will have access to the following benefits:

- Shopping by appointment: Shopping by Appointment is a service during which the participating member will be accompanied by a member of Fabindia store staff (“Shopping Assistant”) while they shop at a Fabindia store, for the duration of their appointment. Appointments are subject to the availability of a Shopping Assistant and can be booked on the telephone. Check www.fabfamily.fabindia.com for a list of participating stores and the booking process. Individual appointments are available during Fabindia store opening hours for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 2 hours. Shoppers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult member who is a member and will be subjected to the Terms and Conditions of the Fabfamily program. Fabindia’s normal shopping policies will apply to any purchases made during a ‘Shopping by Appointment’ session. This does not affect your statutory or other legal rights. Shopping Assistants are available to give advice only. Customers are under no obligation to purchase any items recommended by the Shopping Assistant. Cancellations of appointments must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Customers may rebook their appointment by calling the store or Member Care Call Centre. Fabindia reserves the right to cancel, terminate or refuse to schedule a Shopping by Appointment for any reason at its sole discretion, including in circumstances outside of its control. Fabindia may endeavour in its sole discretion to reschedule cancelled appointments with the member at Fabindia’s earliest convenience. Any travel undertaken by you to the Fabindia store under this category shall be solely done by you and any costs and expenses for such travel to the Fabindia store shall be solely borne by you and Fabindia shall not be held liable or responsible for such costs/expenses.
Black Tier
You will earn Fabcoins at the rate of 10% for all transactions. This means that for every Rs. 100 you spend in a participating Fabindia store or on www.fabindia.com, you will earn 10 fabcoins . You will have access to the following benefits:

- Shop from Home: This service entitles you to try-out your purchases in the comfort of your own home, pay only for what you like and return the rest on-the-spot. This is a free service, available at select stores, only for the Black tier. This service is available on all products except furniture, hard goods and non-returnable items. For a list of participating stores please check www.fabfamily.fabindia.com. Your home address must be within a 10km distance of a participating store for this service to be valid. The maximum number of items that can be brought to your home for trial is 10. Payment for the items you are buying must be done before the Fabindia representative (“Shopping Assistant”) leaves your home. Shop from Home will be organised subject to the availability of a Shopping Assistant who can bring the items to your home. Shop from Home will not be available during big sale days and busy festive periods. Fabindia may change or cancel the Shop from Home service in its discretion, without further notice to members.
- Assigned a Relationship Manager: Black tier members will be assigned a Relationship Manager who will act as their first point of contact for any issues within the Fabindia system. The Relationship Manager may need to contact you from time to time with updates about special events, offers, invites, etc. Details of your assigned Relationship Manager will be sent to you via SMS/email. You must provide a valid email, contact number and postal address in order to receive this information
Terms & Conditions for Shopping
- Participating Fabindia stores include all company owned and franchisee stores in India. At these stores, both earning and redemption of fabcoins is possible. Airport stores within India are included in the program but only earning (or accrual) is possible at these stores. Fabcoins cannot be redeemed at airport stores. Purchases at FabCafé, TugBug, and the Wellness Store are not a part of the program and will not earn fabcoins.
- When a store is working on Manual Billing mode, there will be no redemption of fabcoins. Any bills that are created on manual bill books will not allow for fabcoins redemption against them.
- Platinum and Black tier member's fabcoins are valid for a period of 3 years (36 months) on a rolling basis. This means that the fabcoins that were earned 36 months ago will expire, but the ones that have been earned after that, will remain valid until they reach their 36-month expiry. Bronze, Silver, and Gold tier member's fabcoins are valid for a period of 1 year (12 months) on a rolling basis. This means that the fabcoins that were earned 12 months ago will expire, but the ones that have been earned after that, will remain valid until they reach their 12-month expiry. However, from time to time, Fabindia may run tactical campaigns where the fabcoins expire over different periods. Please follow the campaigns for specific detail to each bonus fabcoin issuance.
- Fabcoins are earned on transactions that involve items that are full-price i.e. non-discounted. Any discounted item, or a bill on which the cashier offers you a manual discount, is not eligible for accrual of fabcoins. If there is a discounted item in your bill then it will not accrue fabcoins. However, the other full-price items on your bill will accrue fabcoins. If your overall bill receives a discount from the cashier at the time of billing, then that entire bill and all the items in it will not be eligible for fabcoin accrual.
- You can use your existing fabcoins balance to buy items that are discounted. But that item in that transaction will not be eligible for fresh fabcoin accrual. Any item or bill that already has a discount against it is not eligible to accrue fresh fabcoins for any value of that item or bill. Spends on discounted items will also be considered as a part of your total annual spend while considering your tier upgrades or downgrades.
- The Fabfamily program, in case of online transactions, applies to online transactions that are shipped within the Indian subcontinent only, and are paid for in Indian Rupees. Any transactions conducted in a foreign currency or shipped internationally are not included in the program and will not accrue fabcoins.
- Eligible online transactions must have a valid 10-digit Indian mobile number associated with them at the time of transaction completion.
- Transactions completed on www.fabindia.com will accrue fabcoins 32 days post the date of delivery. This means that the fabcoins will be granted and will reflect on your personal account only 4 weeks after a successful delivery.
- Fabcoins can be used to pay for any transaction that is pre-paid i.e. paid for via any method other than Cash on Delivery. Cash on Delivery transactions cannot be completed via using fabcoins.
- Fabfamily Rewards points referred to as ‘Fabcoins’ will be awarded only if the customer provides their mobile number during billing.
- Fabcoins earned on store purchase will reflect in the customer’s account 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Fabcoins earned on online purchases will reflect in the customer’s account 30 days from the date of delivery.
- Fabcoins will not be awarded on discounted merchandise.
Terms and Conditions on Reward Redemption
- Fabindia has curated a special list of rewards across India that will take you on hand-picked journeys to some of the best places to stay, eat and explore cultures and craft. The complete list of rewards is available at www.fabfamily.fabindia.com.
- Fabfamily rewards can be redeemed against your available fabcoins balance. Each reward has a fabcoin value mentioned against it, which is the number of fabcoins you need to have in your account in order to redeem it. In some cases, if you don’t have enough fabcoins in your account, you may be able to redeem the reward by paying for the remaining amount by card on our partner website.
- These rewards are governed by the Terms & Conditions of the partner that organises the reward. Fabindia does not take responsibility for the execution of the rewards listed by its partners. Fabindia is only a facilitator in the transaction, enabling the redemption of experiential options by our customers. However, any quality or service issues with the provider will need to be handled by the customer directly with the reward provider.
- Cancellation, refunds and all other exceptional circumstances will be subject to the Terms & Conditions of the individual reward partner. Please make sure you read through these carefully before you book rewards.
- Your Fabfamily fabcoins are considered redeemed, and will be debited from your account, as soon as the booking process is complete or the fabcoins voucher is created on the Fabfamily site. For rewards where you are using a Fabfamily voucher to redeem at the venue directly, please ensure you mention your registered mobile number and the voucher number at the time of the booking. In the absence of this, your reward will be considered null and void and the payment by fabcoins will be considered nullified. Members who redeem rewards but their redemption cannot be traced back to their registered mobile number and their Fabfamily account may be blacklisted from Fabindia. This could result in their being removed from the Fabfamily program, and all their fabcoins being rendered null and void.
- Rewards once booked and not cancelled within the acceptable period, will be considered redeemed and the fabcoins will not be returned or refunded.
Terms & Conditions for Non-shopping Earns
MISCELLANEOUS
- The Terms & Conditions mentioned herein are final and binding on the Members unless rescinded or revoked by Fabindia. Fabindia has the right to change, modify, alter and/or amend these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion without any prior notice.
- Without notice to you, Fabindia reserves the right to suspend any Fabfamily membership and/or terminate your account and/or your participation in the Fabfamily program. Fabindia reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and/or your participating if Fabindia determines in its sole discretion that you have violated these Terms & Conditions, i.e. you have more than one (1) account, or that the use of your account is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. In the event that your participation in the Fabfamily program is terminated, then all accumulated fabcoins in your account are void.
- Without notice to you, Fabindia reserves the right to change the value assigned to each ‘Point’ earned within the program.
- Without notice to you, Fabindia also reserves the right to 'unregister' and make ineligible for the Fabfamily program any Fabindia Card or account that has been inactive for five (5) consecutive years. Inactive is defined as no spends made against the registered mobile number. In the event that your Fabfamily account is unregistered or rendered inactive, then all accumulated fabcoins in your account are void.
- There is no membership fee associated with the Fabfamily program.
- Fabcoins accumulated under the program have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Fabindia may introduce promotion programs relating to the Fabfamily program whereby these Terms and Conditions may be varied as applicable to such programs. Your fabcoins, benefits, registered Fabindia Card, and your account under the Fabfamily program are personal to you, and except expressly permitted under these Terms and Conditions or the rules of a promotional programme, may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with family, friends or others.
- You authorize Fabindia to disclose your information registered on our site www.Fabindia.com to Government authorities or to competent authorities or to credit bureaus or to the third persons, to comply with its obligations under law. Further, you also authorize Fabindia to use your information for offering products and services to you, including from its associate /partners, unless specified otherwise.
- Fabindia will not be responsible for any loss of Rewards or fabcoins due to loss or misuse of the Fabfamily card, the member’s mobile number or any other personal property.
- You are solely responsible to check that your fabcoins balance and transactions have been properly credited to your account. No request for retrospective credit of fabcoins will be entertained unless otherwise specified.
- All disputes in connection with the Fabfamily program shall be governed and construed in accordance with Indian laws and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Competent Courts at Delhi only.
- Further, Fabindia's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are applicable to the said program. Please refer to the full documents available at www.fabindia.com.
Copyright and Limited License
- Unless otherwise indicated, the Sites and all content and other materials therein, including, without limitation, the Fabindia logo, Fabfamily logo and all designs, text, graphics, pictures, information, data, software, sound files, other files and the selection and arrangement thereof (collectively, 'Site Materials') are the proprietary property of the Company or its licensors or users and are protected by Indian and international copyright laws.
- You are granted a limited, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Sites and Site Materials for personal, informational and shopping purposes only. Such license is subject to the Terms of Use and does not include: (a) any resale or commercial use of the Sites or Site Materials; (b) the collection and use of any product listings, pictures or descriptions; (c) the distribution, public performance or public display of any Site Materials; (d) modifying or otherwise making any derivative uses of the Sites and the Site Materials, or any portion thereof; (e) use of any data mining, robots or similar data gathering or extraction methods; (f) downloading (other than the page caching) of any portion of the Sites, the Site Materials or any information contained therein, except as expressly permitted on the Sites; or (g) any use of the Sites or the Site Materials other than for its intended purpose. Fabindia shall take all reasonable precautions to preserve the integrity and prevent any corruption or loss, damage or destruction of Customer Personal Data.
